Shawn H. Robinson

Shawn H. Robinson is a civil and criminal trial lawyer representing clients throughout the State of Utah. He has practiced law for sixteen years. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Utah, the Federal District Court and the Supreme Court of the United States of America. He has lectured other lawyers in Continuing Legal Education Seminars. He has taught advanced courses in business law.

Mr. Robinson has extensive litigation experience in both civil cases and criminal cases. He has tried to conclusion more than 500 civil, criminal and administrative cases. Mr. Robinson has never lost a jury trial.

Mr. Robinson speaks Spanish fluently and has represented hundreds of Spanish-speaking clients.

Educational Background

Mr. Robinson attended Brigham Young University on a wrestling scholarship. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1990 with a double major in International Relations and Spanish.

Mr. Robinson earned his law degree from Gonzaga University in 1995. At Gonzaga, Mr. Robinson was a member of the William O. Douglas Society, a group that brought speakers to the University focusing on First Amendment free speech issues.

Mr. Robinson has litigated almost every kind of criminal case in the State of Utah, including a First Degree Murder case that resulted in a jury acquittal
